Albert Henry Bromley
My father born 1909, died 1944.
He was trained at the Camberwell School of Art and eventually was employed by Thomas De La Rue as a Stamp and Bank note designer.
He also produced oil paintings, watercolours and some sculptures. The front piece of an album showing the stamps he designed is shown.
The image is from the original in my possession and shows his type of work. There were few processes in his day and all lettering and artwork were produced by hand and in small detail. An example of his work can be seen in The Gallery under his name.
